Smelly Laundry? Use laundry soap with Enzymes and Tea Tree!

ree

Making swaps in your home from toxic products, to non-toxic products can be hard! There are options that work and many that don't. When they don't work, it feels like a big waste of money. And trust me, I have tried many option!

This has been a tried and true for our family... and we have a lot of kids that get clothes dirty, stained, etc.

Our homemade Laundry Soap:

  • 1 shredded bar of Felz Napa or Dr. Castille's bar soap

  • Half box each of: Borax & Washing Soda

  • 1 bag of Norwex's Ultra Enzyme Laundry powder

Mix all ingredients together and store in a closed jar. You only need 1-2T of this per load!

Extra smelly clothes??? Add drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil to your load as the water fills!

I like to also add a splash of white vinegar to our loads! No this does NOT leave your clothes smelling like vinegar! Not at all! But it DOES leave your clothes feeling so soft!

Extra tip: Use wool dryer balls!! Definitely get rid of dryer sheets because they are LOADED with chemicals that your body absorbs! Add your favorite smelling Essential Oils to the dryer balls for a burst of freshness when you fold your finished load! Some favorites are: Lavender, Wild Orange, Lemon, & Citrus Bliss

With love,

Kristy E.
